Our instructional focus is on differentiated instruction, with the following mission:
The staff of Vimy Ridge Academy is engaged in a project designed to motivate and engage all students in their learning. In a typical classroom, there is a range of learning needs and styles. A differentiated classroom works to address these various learning needs within a community of learners. The goal of our project is to increase achievement for all students through the implementation of research-based practices and strategies for differentiation. We wish to ensure that all students perceive themselves as capable, connected and contributing learners.
