Students are encouraged to turn their passions into high performance achievement. Whether they are involved in one of our Sports Programs, The Outdoor Pursuits Program or our Dance Program, we work to develop a high performance mentality into every aspect of their learning.

Students realize increased success when they apply their passion for high performance areas to their classroom studies. However, we also understand that students become more interested in their studies when it is derived from their personal experiences. We create this link through the development of classroom projects that allow students to integrate diverse subjects with their complementary options, providing a link between academics and real life. This helps them to translate their high performance mind-set into their studies, and increases their success. Passion turns into performance.

We are very proud of our student's results on both the Provincial Achievement and Diploma Exams. Our grade 9 Provincial Achievement Test and grade 12 Diploma Exam results are continually above provincial standards. Our staff works extremely hard to ensure that our students meet their potential on such provincial assessments. It takes a total “team” effort to make this happen and through a coordinated effort between our students, parents, teachers and support staff such success is a reality for the students who attend VRA.
