Vimy Ridge Academy School, home of the Raiders, has a tradition of excellence in Athletics. Numerous opportunities to participate in school sports and athletic clubs are offered at both the high school and junior high level. These teams and clubs are coached by experienced and devoted teachers, providing students an opportunity to enjoy a positive extracurricular athletic experience.

Raider athletics plays a prominent role in the Vimy Ridge community with a proud tradition of excellence and pride. Raider athletics compete in the Edmonton Metro Schools conference and at the ASAA provincial level with a focus on citizenship, opportunity, respect and enthusiasm (CORE). Vimy Ridge Academy athletic teams are well recognized throughout the City and Province for their sportsmanship, hard work, and high level of performance.
