Vimy Golf
Vimy Golf is a specialized golf academy in Edmonton designed for student-athletes in grades 7–12. Located in central Edmonton, Vimy Golf provides student-athletes in grades 7–12 with a balanced program that combines high-quality academics with high-performance golf training. The program is designed around a variety of themes and units that support on-course development, complete athletic movement, and long-term player growth. Student-athletes receive instruction in swing analysis and set-up, course management and shot variety, mental focus and imagery, as well as golf-specific fitness.
During the summer months, instruction and practice take place in partnership with Highlands Golf Club, The Quarry, and City of Edmonton golf facilities, as well as at The Golf Factory and the Vimy Golf Center. Students bus to the courses after lunch, where they participate in a combination of driving range sessions and on-course practice. During the winter months, training is based at the Vimy Golf Center and The Golf Factory, where state-of-the-art launch monitors and hitting stations provide athletes with detailed feedback to support continued development throughout the off-season.
