Vimy Elite Athlete
Vimy Elite is designed for elite student-athletes who are provincial, national or international caliber in their chosen sport. Accommodations are provided by modifying a student’s timetable or assignment schedule to avoid conflict with their training or competition timelines. Parents are responsible for transportation to and from their chosen training facilities. We currently provide flexible programming for student-athletes of the following sports: diving, equine, figure skating, swimming, golf, tennis, gymnastics and alpine skiing. Parents can choose to enroll their child in a five-day program that allows for a flexible academic time table.
Ballet Foundations for Elite Athletes
Vimy Ridge Academy is pleased to offer instructional sessions in Ballet Foundations for Elite Athletes in partnership with the Edmonton School of Ballet Society. Ballet training is an excellent addition to athletic training, particularly for skaters, divers, gymnasts, and more! Come train with highly qualified professionals in classes during your academic day at Vimy Ridge. Private and small group lessons are available two or three times weekly at lunch or in the early afternoons. Classes would be accredited for hours in the Elite program. We can tailor a program to your specific needs and training regime.
