Green & Gold Soccer Academy

Vimy Soccer, offered in partnership with the University of Alberta’s Green and Gold Soccer Academy, is designed for student-athletes who are looking for an opportunity to work with high-level instructors to advance their soccer skills and knowledge of the game. Vimy Soccer offers a systematic and structured youth development program designed to prepare student-athletes in Grades 7 to 12 for the demands of advanced competition. Our coaching process is based on a challenging and dynamic game situation-training environment delivered by professional and experienced coaches in superior soccer facilities. Vimy Soccer will provide a 10 month outdoor/indoor training program throughout the school year that involves three practice sessions per week. For further program information, please visit the Green and Gold Soccer website.

Registration

Apply to Vimy Soccer

Step 1: Sign up for a Soccer Shadow Day

Step 2: Contact the program contact with any questions you may have.

Step 3: After your Shadow Day Green and Gold, which coordinates programming for the Soccer Academy, will give you access to the online form for program portion of your registration.

Step 4: You will receive access to the online form for the school portion of your registration.

Step 5: The program director and school admin will review all application packages to confirm that the student has met all requirements for entrance into the program and ensure that there is space available at the applicant's grade level.

Step 6: A letter will be sent out to confirm acceptance.

 

Optional for Junior High - Academic Enrichment Program

If you are interested in applying for this optional academic stream and meet the criteria, please complete the Academic Enrichment Program form which will be available in February 2023 and submit it along with your school application.
